Limits: the approach laboratory

Move x and observe f(x): distinguish the point value from the limit, compare both sides and seek justification beyond the numbers.

This menu chooses the type of limit. You can change it in a guided case: the function is preserved, but the laboratory switches to free exploration without automatically applying the original conclusion. Go to Play / Pause controls

Use x, pi, e, + - * / ^, brackets, sin, cos, tan, sqrt, cbrt, abs, exp, ln or log10. Radians and decimal points. Guided piecewise definitions are preconfigured, not free-input syntax.
